Northern Labrador Polar Bear Cruise In July 2006, Parks Canada staff captured, tagged, and measured 123 polar bears over five days. We believe this may be the world record for polar bear tagging and demonstrates the tremendous abundance of these animals along the Northern Labrador coast.
